The 8516F is a managed Fast Ethernet (100FX) switch ideal for government organizations that need the physical security that fiber optic connectivity provides. It is also good for environments where cabling needs to be run through harsh environments where electromagnetic and radio frequency interference exists. The 8516F has an 1RU form factor, is rack mountable, comes with two expansion bays and has DoS attack protection.
